Printshop Tour | The New Home of Edinburgh Printmakers
Every now and then we visit a printshop that makes me question where we live. Perhaps we need to be based in the city where we could work in this studio space?
As I think our photos will attest - the new home for Edinburgh Printmakers obviously had me asking that very question. Occupying a heritage building that used to be a rubber factory and a brewery complex, their new location includes not only a glorious, naturally-lit printshop but cafe, two gallery spaces and gallery shop, which sells original prints and handmade products, by members, artists in residence and in their words “providing a key outlet for Scotland-based artists and printmakers.”
